About Me.
As an artist my work is deeply inspired by the natural world and complexity of the natural world.I find endless inspiration in the delicate details of nature-from the graceful curve of a sunflower's petal to the shifting play of light and shadow across a seashore. Nature in all its forms, is my greatest muse, and through my oil paintings and drawings, I seek to capture its ever-changing essence. My process is rooted in observation, drawing inspiration from the organic textures, colors, and forms found in flowers, trees, water and the sky. Artists such as Georgia O'Keefe have greatly influenced my approach, particularly in her ability to imbue familiar natural scenes with emotion and vibrancy. Like her I aim to explore the emotional depth that lies within the seemingly ordinary- whether it's the golden glow of a sunflower basking in sunlight or the quiet power of a tree standing against the wind. Through oil painting and drawings, I strive to create pieces that reflect not only the visual beauty of nature, but also its quiet strength and serenity. My work is a meditation on the interconnectedness of life, aiming to evoke a sense of peace and wonder in the viewer, reminding them of the simple yet [rofound beauty that surrounds us every day- Nancy
